Most beaches on Mallorca are the perfect place for the children, there is lovely soft sand for those sandcastles, a gentle sea lapping at the beach with life guards patrolling. Please, this does not mean you don't have to keep an eye on your children, but it is a lot easier and more relaxed than in the UK. Children will find things, such as the banana boat rides and pedalos, to do, as well as more sophisticated things including jet-skis and windsurfing for the older children. The majority of beaches cater for children with a variety of attractions and facilities so you don't have to go far in order to keep them happy. Everything really depends upon the age of the children. The young ones will be quite happy to play on the beach and paddle in the water whereas the older they get the more they want to do, so check out the beaches and the facilities around it before you decide to spend the day there and see what is available for your children. Obviously the main tourist areas will have more activites for the children and for you to spend your money on. I was unable to find a suitable video of the beaches of Mallorca but I did find this selection of shots of a variety of different types of beaches which really sums up the beauty of Mallorca and its diverse collection of beaches.
