As you may have seen there have been some ongoing changes on the Website.  There is information on a few new things such as Email Marketing Tips for Businesses and and offer for Digital TV for those of you like me who love your TV.  I have moved the Images of Mallorca so that they are more accessible for people new to the site and they can see how beautiful Mallorca is.  As you can see I have revamped the front page and will bring you news about Mallorca that I find.  Not always easy to find good, positive news but I will do my best and if anyone has anything that they would like added please feel free to add it to the events forum and I might even be able to include it on the front page!

I am gradually building up information on Mallorca so that we have a site that give as much information and help as possible to everyone on the Island and visiting the Island.  Don´t forget to tell everyone they can advertise for free on the site or pay to be a part of our Business Directory.

I apologise for not writing for so long, I am afraid a virus caught me and knocked me for six, been very poorly, something I am not used to and I found myself in the very unusual position of really not being able to do anything, and that included getting onto the computer and working.

Back up to speed now and I will be looking for and adding as much as possible to the site for everyone to enjoy and use.

As our special advertising offer ran out we came up with an alternative way to advertise on AdsMallorca for FREE.  Businesses can add their business to our business classifieds for free, immediately.  Of course they will not be as visible as they would be in our directory but they are on the site and that is the main thing, as we grow then hopefully so will they!!

Please note that there will be a verification process -  with AdsMallorca everything is up front.  You will not be inundated with emails but you must agree to receive emails from us now and then in order to add your listing.  This is actually commonplace and most free listings mean parting with your email address so that you can receive information from whoever you place your ad with and most of the time this is done without you receiving any information about it.  We just wanted to make sure that you knew when you signed up that this was the process.

We look forward to having you list with us soon.  Apart from the revamp and this advertising addition there has not been much more done to the site - Oh I almost forgot I have added Mallorca News and a lot of very interesting and useful links to the site for your information under Mallorca Links.

Major changes to the website are now complete.  Not only is it looking much neater it allows me to add the photos of Mallorca at the top of the page which I think looks really good.  I also realise that, although I love the dark websites, for the majority of people the lighter sights are easier to read and are therefore more effective. 

As of the 1st September, there will be a new opportunity for businesses to advertise.  Will let you know more on the 1st but ´watch this space´.

I had expected to do some major updates but not quite as major as I did.  Unfortunately some things just go all wrong and send you off in another direction, which is more or less what happened here.  My intentions and what I actually did were miles apart.  Having said that I think it looks great and I had thought about changing over to this template over the past two months but because it was quite a radical change and there was much to prepare I kept putting it off. 

So what happened yesterday??  No idea, was making, what I thought was a quite normal update and it all went pear shaped.  I do apologise to all of the people who came to the site while it was down or looking terrible. It took me most of yesterday plus a couple of hours today to get things back to 'normal' and I must say I think the site looks a whole lot better and not quite so cluttered - this is especially good as my intention is to keep on adding things which will be of help to the residents of Mallorca and the people who would like to visit this wonderful island.

I hope that, like me, you think this has been a vast improvement on the old style!!
