No matter where we live in the world we all like our DIY. Living here in Mallorca it is not always as easy as in the UK where huge stores such as B & Q and Homebase are always just around the corner and open every day. In Mallorca we have Leroy Merlin and our local Ferrateria's to supply us with our main DIY items - then there are the specialists on the Poligonos in Son Bugadelles or Son Castello for those people living in the South. I am presuming that if you live anywhere else on the island that things are the same with DIY items being available only from Monday to Saturday and the selection definitely limited.
Nevertheless we still like to do our own thing and have a go. With this in mind I have found a great website called eHow which has lots of information and guides on how to do it youself 'with help'.
