Ferry Services to and from Mallorca

The majority of ferries in Mallorca are based in the ferry dock on the western end of the Paseo Maritimo. There are 2 very busy terminals, one is for Trasmediterranea and the other is for Balearia.

Tickets can be bought up to 30 minutes before the ferry leaves but this is not advisable as there are often long queues.  It really is best to get there at least an hour before.

From Mallorca there are both normal and high speed ferries available, please check online for availability. Unfortunately the high speed ferries are more often than not cancelled when the weather is bad. You would normally find yourself transferred to the ordinary ferry and, if you are very lucky, you may get a cabin thrown in particularly if you have been overly delayed.

Ferries to Menorca also travel from Alcudia in the north of Mallorca.
